China Southern Airlines have their main hub at Guangzhou’s new Baiyun International Airport, also operating their own terminal at Beijing Capital International Airport. They offer an extensive domestic network across China, with connections available to Australia, Europe and the United States of America. In 2006, the airline carried 49 million passengers on its aircraft. China Southern has been a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance since November 2007.

China Southern Airlines operates both Business and Economy classes on many of its aircraft. On most China Southern Airlines flights, meals and drinks are provided. TV and movies are shown in English and Chinese.

The Sky Pearl club is the frequent flyer scheme of China Southern Airlines, with membership levels of Blue, Silver and Gold. Membership is available to all passengers aged 12 years and above. Points can be used to purchase free flights or upgrades on China Southern Airlines flights.
