Dragonair
Dragonair is a member of the Cathay Pacific Group, with its main hub at Hong Kong International Airport. It has won ‘Best Airline – China’ for six consecutive years in the World Airline Survey conducted by Skytrax. The airline flies to over 30 destinations, including 21 in mainland China. Dragonair has been an affiliate member of the oneworld airline alliance since November 2007.
Dragonair aircraft all have Business and Economy class cabins. Dragonair aims to provide meals to suit the particular taste preferences of passengers from different countries across their network. Between Hong Kong and Changsha, Guilin, Haikou and Sanya, economy class passengers receive complimentary beverages only. A330 Type 1 configuration aircraft, which are used mainly for flights within Mainland China, additionally have a First Class cabin which offers facilities including a lie flat seat, privacy panel and a la carte dining.
Dragonair operates an In-town check in service for those passengers travelling from Hong Kong. This service is available at Hong Kong and Kowloon Airport Express Line (AEL) stations and can check in can be undertaken at any time between one day and ninety minutes in advance of the flight.
The Marco Polo Club is the loyalty programme which rewards Dragonair frequent flyers. Points can be earned by taking Dragonair or Cathay Pacific flights or purchases with selected travel and non-travel partners. Membership levels are Green, Silver, Gold and Diamond and members with Silver level or above are eligible for access to Dragonair airport lounges, which offer business facilities, TV and self service refreshments.
